What Should You Bring?
All line is supplied but you must bring your towels. The norm is ‘casuel’ all the way and you will need a sturdy pair of walking shoes for the ancient temples and agoras you will be exploring. Slacks are great for that occasional disco or taverna in the evenings while a sweater or two and a windbreaker will come in handy. An antique pair of sneakers will do well for rock swimming as you won’t want to mess up your sailing shoes. A sun hat and sunglasses are a must for everyone. Since storage space aboard a yatch is limited, we must ask you to take soft bags only which can be folded and stored after everything has found its place in your cabin.
Food
If your choice is Barebooting, you may want to do your own shopping at the multitude of little fishing villages along the way. If you have selected a Crewed Yacht, however, we will take care of all the necessary details so that mealtimes become delectable feasts of eating, drinking and being merry!
Technical Service
All yatchs are delivered in a well maintained, clean and well equipped condition. If you select a Bareboot Charter, our technicians will be on hand to receive your calls on VHF, 24 hours a day, in case you need help during your cruise.
Your Yacht
TheTDT yachts we have prepared for you are comfortable and well equipped
since we want you to pamper yourself or be pampered by our experienced
crew and skipper.
Traditional Turkish yachts are called "goulettes", to someone who knows
nothing about boats, the goulette is a relic from the days of
Christopher Colombus miraculously survived. They are simple, comfortable
and seaworthy. There is the forward deck, ideal for sunworshippers and
the generous aft deck for lazy living. The cabins have double beds with
en suite WC's and showers, The crew have separate quarters with private
facilities. The interior saloon is spacious. The fully equipped galley
has a full size oven and coolers.
Blue
Cruise Vessels: All Blue Cruise Vessels are 19 - 27 meters length. All
cabins have en-suite WC & Showers (hot&cold). There is a music
set, VHF Radio, telephone, GSM mobile phone and a dinghy on each yacht.
The crew consists of a captain, a cook and a deckhand.
What Else?
Being a reputable Travel Agent, Turkish Delight Tours can also arrenge land-tours for you either before or after your yatch trip. We provide car-rentals, plane tickets and hotel reservations in case you feel like exploring the depths of Anatolia.. the Land where civilization really began. The Climate
You can visit Turkiye thrroughout the year but yacht trips are best
between the months of April through October. The high season of July and
August bring on high temperatures and we recommed spring and autumn as
the ideal seasons for exploring Turkiye’s southern Aegean coast.
What Choices Do You Have for a Yachting Experience?
The Traveller to Turkiye will have three choices for a yachting experience. If you are a seasoned yachtsman, you may want to make use of our ‘Bareboot Charter’ opportunities. If you wish to charter a crewed yacht for you, your family and friends, you will need to review that option under the heading ‘Crewed Charter’. If, however, you find it difficult to get a group together but still want to enjoy the coastline for your vacation this year, we suggest you explore the section under ‘Regular Yacht Tours’.

Bookings
Once you have selected your choice of a Yatch Trip, get in touch with us or your travel agent so that we can make your reservations which sometimes requires a 50% deposit of the total charter fee.
These are comfortable, easy to handle, modern yachts which are delivered in a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped conditions. Our technicians at the two ports of Bodrum and Marmaris will be on hand 24 hours a day to receive your calls on VHF 06 in case you need help during your cruise. These two bases are equipped with VHF, telex and telephone facilities and are at your service.
Food on Board
On Bareboot Charters, the food arrangements are left entirely up to you. This gives you the flexibility to eat on board or on land. Shopping, of course, may be done in any of the numerous little fishing villages along the way.
