PASSPORT / VISA for US Citizens
Be aware that a Turkish Visa is required to enter the country. This visa is routinely obtained during the normal custom’s check-in procedure after your arrival. No need to fret about it! You will need your passport and $20 cash for a 90-day sticker visa at the port of entry. You land, collect your luggage, get in the line for visa quite quickly. Once it is your turn to hand your passport over pay the $20 (in US dollars) and your visa will be approved at the drop of a stamp! -Next person in line please! You will be surprised how incredibly easy and quick that was, especially after flying in high security US airports. Welcome to Türkiye.
SMALL GROUPS of 6 to 14 PEOPLE or Your Own Group!
Travelers will rendezvous with the Turkish Delight Tours tour leader at the airport in Istanbul. He will be aware of your flight and will hold a placard sign with your family name. If you are joining the tour from America and if you happened to meet Inan in Colorado, then you probably will have arranged the meeting with him. You might as well be on the same plane to with him! Keep your eyes peeled after you depart from the baggage claim area and enter the main arrival’s area, as this is standard protocol and you will be initially overwhelmed with the numbers of greeters and their signs!
PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR FLIGHT TO ARRIVE IN DESTINATION AIRPORT BEFORE 6:00 P.M. AS Turkish Delight Tours WILL PROVIDE A WELCOME DINNER, INTRODUCTIONS, AND A REVIEW OF THE NEXT DAY ACTIVITIES BEFORE AN EARLY BEDTIME AT OUR HOTEL!

Each member of The Turkish Delight Tours Group will receive his/her own Personal Radio to use for the duration of the trip. With this handy communication device you can feel completely comfortable contacting your Tour Leader as you negotiate prices in bazaars and markets or if you were separated from the group for some particular reason. Travelers will be able to contact one another as well as tour leaders Inan or Alpan and vice versa. Just be careful with the use of batteries and keep couple extras handy!

A good hint to remember is the tourism season for Turkish Delight Tours remains between May and October of every year. Your special interest tour organizations with Turkish Delight Tours which are built-to-order for your private groups of 6 - 14 people shall decide the off-season tour dates with Inan
Our agenda is ambitious but open to individual interests. The days will be full, the accommodations will be of the highest standards to the extent possible, and the palate will be enchanted with the freshest local cuisines and specialties. Some moderate walking and hiking activities are planned in Istanbul, Bolu, Trabzon and Rize. Opportunities for serious shopping will be reserved for our final days in Istanbul. However, if you encounter a coveted object en route, you are encouraged to purchase it because there will be the added pleasure that the transaction will be done directly with the local artisan and surely be a one-of-a-kind item, not found again
